In our Voters Service role, we present unbiased, nonpartisan information about elections, the voting process, and issues on the ballot.

Sat, August 9 Last day for candidates to file
Wed, August 13 Qualified candidate list published by Secretary of State
Mon, September 8 First day to apply for absentee voter ballot by mail
Mon, September 22 Last day to register to vote on October 7
Tue, September 23 Last day for candidates to file for write-in
Sat, September 27 Last day for state to mail Voter Pamphlet
Tue, September 30 Last day to apply for absentee voter ballot by mail
Tue, October 7

RECALL ELECTION DAY
   Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
   Go to Smart Voter to find your polling location and info about contests (as available)
